Titus

This short letter was composed for the purpose of instructing and encouraging Titus. Titus was one of Paul's young missionary companions and was one of is converts. He was a Greek from Antioch who accompanied Paul on his third missionary journey. At the time of this letter, Paul was imprisoned in Rome and had dispatched Titus to resolve dissension in the Cretan church.
