Ezekiel 20:1-26 boils down Israel's sin to three basic categories...scorning His decrees and regulations, violating the Sabbaths, and longing for idols. There is the Sabbath again! Lest we had forgotten since Exodus, God's regulations regarding the Sabbath were to be taken seriously and literally and were to be considered ordinances for ALL TIME. With Sunday approaching, this is a timely reminder that ignoring the Sabbath is a grievous sin.
