Continuing with Paul's train of thought, if the Law cannot offer salvation, what was the point of it in the first place? According to Romans 7:7-13, it's purpose was to reveal our sin. The Law shows us where we miss the mark of holiness. And our inability to keep the Law, shows us how badly we need another plan of salvation. We won't seek a Savior unless we see our need for one...
